This has to be one of Malaysia’s pioneering malls to come up with an innovative design. With a colossal Egyptian-inspired sphinx standing watch at the entry, a grand pyramid-shaped main complex, pseudo-hieroglyphs decorating the outer façade and several false pharaoh statues. This crowd magnet is favoured among the large residential, commercial and educational population around Bandar Sunway, as well as tourists from across the world.

The complex was designed by IGB Corporation and opened in 1999. This comprises a shopping centre, a block of office houses, 30 businesses and three hotels. Partly because of the number of stores and the range available, the mall draws massive crowds all year long.
One of the many shopping malls in Selangor, Paradigm Mall is easily accessible. Located about 30 minutes from the city centre of KL (along the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) highway), it has more than 100 designer brands– many of which have spacious, upscale stores – as well as home furnishing stores.
