Bukit Tabur is home to one of the most beautiful sunrises in Malaysia. Situated between Taman Melawati and UIA Gombak, Bukit Tabur is a lovely location for hikers due to its breathtaking view of the Klang Gate Dam and the Kuala Lumpur landscape.

There are many trails that lead to different peaks at Bukit Tabur. The most popular and longest path is located behind Zoo Negara, at the opening of the Jalan Taman Zooview. The hike is around 3 hours, so plan ahead and you\'ll be greeted with a beautiful sunrise.

Broga Hill

Broga is located on the border between the states of Negri Sembilan and Selangor. The name of Broga is thought to have been originated from Buragas, a mythical creature.

Well-known for its breathtaking view, Broga Hill is another common landmark for those close and far who come to this place for a stunning view. Unlike Bukit Tabur, there is only one way up and down Broga Hill, with three points of view – at 880 feet, 1150 feet, and at the top at 1312 feet. The hike can take between 40 and 60 minutes. How fast you reach the summit totally depends on your fitness level. After coming down from Broga, you can enjoy a refreshing drink at the nearby coconut stall. If you choose to hike in the morning, be prepared to be greeted by a beautiful sunrise.

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa lies in the centre of the city. It is a leisure park with a wide lake as its main drawing factor. Famous among city dwellers, it offers tennis courts, a playground for children and other leisure facilities for water sports, jogging and the like.

Conveniently located nearby the park is the Remote Control (RC) car track, which is complete with a driver platform and seats for spectators, making it a common activity for RC fans on weekends. The Park also provides amenities such as bicycle riding, helicopter rides, tennis courts, jogging and water sports. Pantai Morib

Pantai Morib is one of the closest beaches to Kuala Lumpur. It can get busy on weekends with day-trippers. When the tide is low you can see small tiny crabs running on the muddy beach. It is a good place to take a stroll by the sea on the roads.

Efforts have been made in recent years to provide more beach facilities. There is a food court, clean toilets and showers, a children\'s playground and a kite flying field. Kites can be bought and roller blades are also available for hire.
